Raising our voices day and night

Citizens in Appleton, Wisconsin have rallied every day for almost a month to protest the cruel policy of separating refugee children and parents.  Yesterday they printed out six Raising Our Voices posters and today they’ll be taking them to their congressional representative’s office to ask “Where are the children?”  Sending a huge THANK YOU to them!

Meanwhile, in upstate New York, a group of adult immigrants got together to write #cardsforkids late into the night. They told us “We had a nice and very productive evening. We wrote 150+ encouraging cards (in Spanish) for kids who have been separated from their parents.  It’s a small gesture, but we hope that it’ll make them feel loved and that they are not alone.”  Thank you!
